Sorry I have been missing in action

Luke 21 26 Men’s‭ hearts failing them‭‭ for‭ fear‭, and‭ for looking after‭ those things which are coming on‭‭ the earth‭: for‭ the powers‭ of heaven‭ shall be shaken‭‭.‭
27 ‭And‭ then‭ shall they see‭‭ the Son‭ of man‭ coming‭‭ in‭ a cloud‭ with‭ power‭ and‭ great‭ glory‭.‭

Good Morning
Question? Did not the Great warriors of the Old Testament pray before a battle? Did king David, Mosses, Joshua, and others go into battle even know they had prayed. They walked in their battle with victory. They battled knowing they were victorious because, they had God’s hand around them.
Trying to understand that, sometimes we must still battle with all we have in us even though we have prayed and made our needs known to Him.
Just thinking out loud.
