Registration Fee: On top of being required to pay a registration fee, new businesses in Cyprus are required to pay a registration fee as well. This fee helps the government keep track of its ownership structure and determine which foreign investors have appropriately paid their return of investment needed. The registration fee and shareholder requirements are very minimal and are rarely waived by the Cyprus authorities. To save on costs, it is recommended that most new ventures register in the country without any payment of additional charges.
