Each of the 4-Arm PEG-Azide has an azide group attached to a pentaerythritol core at the end of each arm. It can be used for PEGylation by click chemistry with alkynes or acetylenes. Multi-armed PEG derivatives such as 4-Arm PEG-Azide have many reactive groups that can be used to modify proteins, peptides and other materials through their functional groups. In addition, they can be used in drug delivery systems.
