The Compulsory Register Scheme (CRS) of the Government of India requires all electrical products to be certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards. #bisregistration ensures the quality, safety and reliability of the products to the consumer. The BIS certification is required for 49 products including electronics to ensure the standards are met. Before importing or selling a product into India, the concerned manufacturer must obtain a BIS certificate CRS in Chennai.
