Plastic pollution is huge. LEGO just passed the 1 trillion piece mark this year, but most people don't know these cannot be recycled but they can be reused. https://brickrecycler.com/ has a great service of "reusing millions of Lego pieces"
Legos can't be recycled, but Brick Recycler accepts used Legos sent from across the US, and lets children replay with them.
Donate LEGOs to Brick Recycler so they are reused. See https://brickrecycler.com/ for details

Brick Recycler accepts used Legos sent from across the US, and put them back into use, since they can't be recycled. We read on your site about how little plastic is really recycled. This is so true. After calling countless curbside recycling programs in the US we found none of them could handle LEGO pieces! LEGO pieces can't be recycled in the traditional sense since LEGO sets are made of a combination of small ABS plastic pieces, rubber materials, magnets, and even electronics. Brick Recycler was created to accept donations from across the US and put these wonderful pieces back into use. Here is a press release we just did about how LEGO just hit the 1 trillion piece mark. We find that donors are thrilled to find there are options for their LEGOs since many thrifts don't even take them. Here is a press release we just release in honor of Earth Month (and LEGO hitting the 1 trillion mark for production). LEGO Group Hits 1 Trillion Pieces and Brick Recycler Provides a Way to Reuse Them.
