On Monday, 02 August 2024, an Indian Air Force’s (IAF) MiG-29 fighter jet crashed near Barmer, Rajasthan. The Indian Air Force went to X and informed that the incident occurred during a routine night training mission in the Barmer sector when the fighter jet encountered a technical defect leading to the pilot ejecting on time.
