A 56-year-old woman was referred to our department with a 5-month history of progressive abdominal pain related to physical exertion and copious meals.We present the case of a young patient who underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy. This patient suffers a postoperative complication, a migration of the surgical clip to the common bile duct ( less then 100 cases reported to date). Treatment in most cases is by ERCP.
