WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader Upgrades will give you a boost to certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the item level by +3. Each upgrade also increases an unspecified substat. The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless the item has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a high variance in stats (like the eth Titan weapons). Upgrades aren't as important for those with higher variance because of the requirement to roll an exact version. Recy
