We report a facile way to prepare omniphobic report through the vapor-phase deposition of chlorosilane particles to generate "liquid-like" polymer brushes on commercially readily available release liners. In comparison to polymer brushes grafted from answer, this solvent-free technique prevented physical deformation associated with report, such as curling or wrinkling.
