Digoxin was significantly associated with all-cause, cardiac, and arrhythmic death, with estimated hazard ratios (HR) of 1.39 (95% confidence interval [CI] 1.11-1.73, P = 0.004), 1.44 (95% CI 1.13-1.82, P = 0.003), and 2.03 (95% CI 1.63-2.54, P less then 0.0001), respectively.
