Aim - in complex to evaluate different types of female vaginal biocenosis on the background of contraceptives usage in order to detect implant-associated infection. Clinical status, features of vaginal microflora and formation of biofilms were assessed in 64 women of reproductive age, who had inert intrauterine device (IUD) of the second generation for a period of from 5 months to 8 years. pH of vaginal secretion was measured by the test strips CITOLAB (Farmasko, Ukraine). The condition of vaginal biocenosis was assessed according to «Fe
