It might seem daunting to put up the flap for your cat however, with the proper instructions, it's not too difficult. Firstly, determine how high you want the cat flap to be (on average or belly height). Mark this point on your door and then use the template included to guide you when drilling. If you have a kitten, or a young kitten, prop the door open very slightly and gradually allow it to enter. Reward the kitten as it goes
