I woke up in a bed made of clouds, hovering above an endless ocean of stars. My pet hummingbird, Lumino, whispered secrets of the cosmos into my ear as I stretched. Today, the Floating City drifts toward the edge of the Dream Realm, where gravity is just a suggestion.
I grab my anti-gravity boots and step outside, bouncing between floating lanterns that hum with forgotten lullabies. A merchant offers me a time-traveling pocket watch in exchange for a memory, but I refuse—I cherish my dreams too much. Instead, I sip a cup of moonlight tea, watching a flock of jellyfish-balloons glide across the sky.
As the sun sets in reverse, I write messages on paper airplanes and send them into the unknown. Somewhere, someone will catch them and wonder about me. Maybe tomorrow, I’ll visit the Library of Unwritten Stories or sail a ship made of dragonfly wings.
For now, I let the wind carry me home.
