Visiting Therapy Dog Program
TLC’s Companion Paws Visiting Therapy Dog Program provides therapeutic visits to groups in need of comfort and care from our trained and certified therapy dogs. Currently, we are unable to offer individual visits in private homes.
Visiting Therapy Dogs typically attend events, shelters, hospitals, schools, hospices, nursing homes, and other public spaces. Unlike service dogs, therapy dogs are encouraged to interact with various people while on duty. Our dedicated team carefully selects dogs that thrive in social settings, offering unconditional love and support wherever it’s needed.
