Stable biobased waterborne Pickering dispersions of acrylated epoxidized soybean oil (AESO) were developed using chitin nanocrystals (ChNCs) as sole emulsifier without any additives. Thin AESO-ChNC nanocomposite films were produced by UV-curing thin-coated layers of the AESO emulsion after water evaporation.
