The purpose of this comparative study was to identify the difference in self-efficacy in nursing practice of newly licensed nurses who transitioned to acute care during the pandemic to those who transitioned prior to the pandemic. Analysis revealed no significant difference in the overall self-efficacy scores of the groups. However, a significant difference was identified in questions related to self-efficacy with death and finding nursing exciting.
