Electric Assist Scooters If you're a commuter going to work or just looking to have a blast, an electric scooter is an excellent way to get around town. However, they're not completely free of dangers. E-scooters are an incredibly popular mode of urban transportation. This study uses chart review and injury coding at two trauma centers to identify injuries that are associated with these vehicles. Accelerate Electric scooters can be between five and eight times faster than walking, which makes them an efficient alternative for commuters wanting to avoid the crowds
