An endoscopic system using 5-color light-emitting diodes (LEDs) (EVIS X1; Olympus Co., Tokyo, Japan), which includes texture and color enhancement imaging (TXI), has been released. In this study, we analyzed the effects of TXI on the visibility of non-polypoid colorectal lesions and its diagnostic accuracy. We reviewed 101 non-polypoid lesions from 26 patients observed with white light imaging (WLI), narrow band imaging (NBI), and TXI.
