Rescue Dogs For Adoption
Companion Paws Canada, part of The LifeLine Canada Foundation, supports Canadians in need by rescuing, training, and pairing **rescue dogs for adoption** with individuals who would benefit from a therapy companion. Through the Companion Paws Personal Therapy-Dog Adoption Program, the first of its kind in Canada since 2017, these rescue dogs are matched with their new owners based on personality and temperament. Both dogs and adopters undergo a thorough intake assessment, and Companion Paws provides skills training to ensure a successful partnership. After completing training and passing evaluations, the new therapy team is certified and receives official Companion Paws Canada identification and registration.
