Segmental caudal vena cava (CVC) aplasia is a rare congenital vascular anomaly in dogs. Two dogs were diagnosed by CT imaging to have right adrenal tumors with concomitant segmental CVC aplasia. During surgery, a firm connection between the right adrenal gland and CVC was observed in both cases. The adrenal glands were found ventral to the CVC and the adrenal tumor was resected including the vascular wall.
