The third instar larva and puparium of Gastrops willistoni Cresson (Diptera Ephydridae), preying on eggs in a foam nest of Leptodactylus knudseni Heyer (Anura Leptodactylidae), in a central Amazonian dryland forest (Brazil) are described for the first time.
