Prurigo pigmentosa is a rare inflammatory skin disease characterized by an unexpected onset of diffuse erythematous papules and macules usually on the chest, neck, and back. These generally resolve, leaving reticular hyperpigmentation. Rarely, vesicular or bullous forms have been reported.
