The national Flag of Armenia, the Armenian Tricolor comprises three even groups of equivalent width, red on the top, blue in the centre, and orange (additionally portrayed as "shade of apricot" on the base. The Armenian Preeminent Soviet took on the ongoing flag on 24 August 1990. On 15 June 2006, the Law on the National Flag of Armenia, overseeing its utilisation, was passed by the National Gathering of Armenia.
