Pre Colonial Filipino Clothes
Filipinos were known for their mix of clothing items that often had both Asian and European influence, as well as their own indigenous styles. Clothing items such as cover-ups or skirts, jackets or blouses, pre colonial filipino clothes caps or turbans and dresses were worn throughout the country especially in mountain areas. Early Filipinos commonly wore pants made from dyed cotton cloth and thick but durable woolen fabrics for the cooler months.
