But why do many young women dread Holi?
‘Bura na mano, Holi hai’ was supposed to mean ‘forget your enmities on the happy day of Holi’. But somewhere down the line, it became a day when under the guise of Holi "fun", many women are inappropriately touched or molested.
Inappropriate touching is never acceptable, regardless of the circumstances. Holi should not be a license to misbehave with women.
