DISCUSSION This was the first case of rhabdomyolysis reported in Chinese civil aircrew. Excessive exercise in an overweight pilot may induce rhabdomyolysis. This condition can be controlled and cured by early and effective treatment. Rhabdomyolysis could occur in a population suffering from overweight, obesity, or hyperlipidemia.
