The major steps of the procedure, demonstrated in this video article, are (1) placement of portals for the arthroscopic procedure, (2) suture anchor insertion into the distal aspect of the fibula, (3) needle insertion into the ATFL remnant, (4) a lasso-loop stitch using a suture relay technique, (5) reattachment of the ATFL remnant, and (6) postoperative protocol.
