For hepatic intermediary metabolism, the increase of lysine level induced the mRNA expression of G6Pase1 and FBPase, but no differences were observed in the expression of the key regulators in glycolysis pathway, such as GK and PK. Furthermore, an appropriate increase in the level of lysine promoted the genes involved in lipolysis, including PPARα, ACOX1, CPT1A, and LPL. However, no differences were observed in the expression of PPARγ, FAS, SREBP1, and LXR, which were important genes related to lipid synthesis. These results provide
