This was confirmed through X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) data of both oxidised and decreased Cu substrate examples. The GNBs were analysed through atomic force microscopy (AFM, after NH3 treatment) and XPS, which shows the formation of five distinct N 1s peaks, related to N2 entrapment, N doping types and atomic nitrogen fused with all the Cu inside the substrate. This method is simple, takes place at reduced conditions (520 K)
