Phytophthora blight, caused by Phytophthora capsici, is one of the most destructive diseases in the production of solanaceous and cucurbitaceous vegetable crops. Fluopicolide has been used to control the disease; however, reduced efficacy of the fungicide was observed in Georgia. P. capsici isolates were collected from commercial vegetable fields in Georgia in 2018 and 2019 to determine sensitivity to fluopicolide, which were phenotyped to have 43.1% of the isolates as resistant. The fitness of resistant (R) and sensitive (S) isolat
